So, I finally get to update my blog, the goal is to update every few days, and, well, make it intesting. The past few weeks have been nuts, so, I'm thrilled that I finally get a chance to blog.
So it's summer, finally, It's 100 outside and a 75 inside. Nice equation, huh? Gotta love the heat, that's why I love living in Illinois, we get toasted in the summer and frozen in the winter, and rained on in the fall and spring.
Now that it's summer I actually have some free time, so I've got 10 things that I want to do this summer, let's see just how much I accomplish.
1, go to the art institute of chicago
2, spend a day at the track
3, finish my short story
4, visit the local musuem
5, eat at an indian restaurant
6, spend a day at the beach
7, go swimming atleast once a week
8, loose 15 pounds
9, eat healthier
10, figure out where my sunglasses went

A Little About Me.
So my life is somewhat interesting. Not really, but hey, I'm happy. So there. I'm a 26 year old college student who's currently working her way through school doing retail.
26 year old student huh? How'd that happen? Well, I started attending community college right out of high school. I originally wanted to get into medicine and become a doctor or nurse, and then I took a couple of science classes and determined that going into medicine just wasn't for me. So then I started to work full time while I made my decision on what to do with my life. I took a variety of classes before determining that I wanted to go into Human Resources. So now I'm back on the right track so to speak.
I currently work as an assistant manager at a maternity store. My boss, "Andi" is a character and is a pleasure to work for. Before that I was a store manager for a large sun glass chain, a store manager at a shoe company, and have worked in various other retail settings.
My long term goals are to retire at age 50, work in H.R., have a couple of kids, learn to kayak better, launch my own line of jewelry, and pay off my student loans by the time I'm 60.
My interests are- art(which I love), perfumery, horse racing, books, history, computers, yoga, beading, jewelry making, cooking, vintage jewelry, and the outdoors. I 'm also really into living green.
My outlook on life is positive and I look at the world around me with rose colored glasses, as far as I'm concerned, things are never as bad as they appear and there's a positive side to everything.
